Monika Kryemadhi is an Albanian politician, born on April 9, 1974, in Tirana. She studied at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, majoring in Biochemistry, at the University of Tirana, and completed postgraduate studies in Business Administration in collaboration with the University of Nebraska.

Her political engagement began in 1991 as one of the founders of FRESSH (the Socialist Youth Forum of Albania). From 2001 to 2005, she served as a deputy of the Socialist Party in the Albanian Parliament. In 2004, Kryemadhi was among the founders of the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI), becoming its chairwoman in 2017. After Ilir Meta’s presidential term ended in 2022, he took over the leadership of the party, which was renamed the Freedom Party.

In June 2024, Kryemadhi and Meta announced their divorce, citing personal and political reasons.

Currently, Monika Kryemadhi is a member of the Albanian Parliament, representing the Fier district.
