Emiljano Shullazi, a figure known in Albania for his criminal activities, has been accused of raping Kristaq Prifti, the husband of the Judge of the Appeals for Serious Crimes, Saida Dollani. The incident occurred on April 23, 2023, when Prifti was threatened and brutally raped by an individual identified as Fabio Ballabani, also known as Fabio Zyberaj. Investigations have revealed that Shullazi ordered this act of violence from his cell, through encrypted communications. This act was intended to influence the trial against Shullazi, where Judge Dollani was part of the judging panel. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Shullazi had contacts with other individuals known for their criminal activities, such as Arben Ndoka and Ervis Martinaj, who are suspected of having played a role in organizing this act of violence. This incident has provoked strong reactions in public opinion and highlighted the need to strengthen the independence and security of the justice system in Albania.
